My plans for the future is to stay healthy and to do my best in being good and inspiring father to my kids

1. Do you have any formal art training, or are you pretty much self-taught?

I guess I am a little bit of both.. I stareted to draw in early
age but I have also attended artschool in both Sweden and Canada for about
three years.

2. It goes without saying that you have an incredible amount of talent.
What mediums do you work with (digital, pen & ink)?

Thank you very much. I enjoy illustrating both digitally and
traditionally, so I would like to see myself as a allround artist. I work
with vector graphics aswell as colour pencils and ink. During artschool I
was screenprinting and I would like to pick that up again in the future.

3. Whom and/or what do you find inspiration from?

My kids without a doubt, but I get inspiration from just about
anything.

4. On the subject of your artistic style, who influenced you to start and who influences you today?

Oh, that´s a tough one to answer... My friends older brother was
a great influence to me during my early years with his awesome ink
drawings.. and of course record covers, comic books, movies, music etc.
My influences today is childrensbooks, Derek Hess, Kent Williams, Bernie
Wrightson, friends, gig-posters, flyers etc.

5. I have always been a fan of your art and your abilities, but have you
any other Interests/hobbies ?

I am pretty much a ordinary family guy, which means that I spend
as much time as possible with my kids. I like interior design and enjoy
working with my hands... doing anything that´s creative.

6. What kind of music are you into?

I guess you could say that I am a punk/metalhead...  I listen to
almost anything as long as it´s filled with energy and has a story to
tell. Music is very important to me and I guess that my art is a
reflection on what kind of music I listen to.

7. What brought you to Addictive Hobby and what do you like about this
community?

I was kind of feed up on the thing that the art-communities lost
their personality and people stopped commenting and giving crits to other
peoples artworks... Then I heard that Scotty just had started the
Addictive Hobby Forum.
And since I knew Scotty from before I also knew
what plans he had for the forum, so I joined and have´nt regreated it.
I think that Addicitve Hobby is the best art community around, the members
are interested in each others artworks... and it does´nt matter if your a
traditional painter or a digital artist.

8. What are your plans for the future? for you and your family ?

My plans for the future is to stay healthy and to do my best in
being good and inspiring father to my kids.. and hopefully to keep
developing as a artist.

9.What do you like or dislike about the online art community

Online art communities should be a like a dinner table... where
you meet friends, share experiences, somewhere to discuss your artwork
while it´s being processed but also when it´s finished.

10. And finally, if you were shipwrecked on a desert island, what 5 things would you wished you had taking with you?

First of all I wish that my kids would be safe at home... playing around like always and not with me on the island.. But here´s the list of the "5" things I wish I had with me:

1. The members of Addictive Hobby
2. A huge sailboat
3. My iPod (charged)
4. Pen & paper
5. Food

11. Thanks for taking the time to answer a few questions, we wish you nothing but success in your future.

Thanks for having me Billy,
