1. Let's begin with telling a little about yourself.
I live in Seoul, in Korea, and as it sounds I’m Korean.
I’m an illustrator at Wezen. I work on 2D illustrations, and a little bit of 3D stuff.
But I’m not good at 3D, but I’ll post some of my 3D stuff whenever possible.
2. How do you go about creating your pieces; what is your general creative formula?
Nothing special. It’s like typical process as what other guys do.
Research, reference, etc…
I some times doodle without any image in my mind.
First I just draw one big shape, and I just add random details on the top of it.
Of course most of time it’s going nowhere, but, it’s refreshing.
3. Whom and/or what do you find inspiration from?
I use many references.
Art books, Movies, Photos, and music etc...
I add my imagination on top of the references I got, then I create some thing new.
4. On the subject of your artistic style, who influenced you to start and who influences you today?
Akira Toriyama
5. Besides creating this beautiful art, have you any other Interests/hobbies ?
I take photos.
I can use it as reference, and it helps my painting skill too.6. What are your tools/programs of choice? I used to use Painter, but since 3 years ago, I only use Photoshop.
It has better editing tools and feels better for me to make details.
And in order to work with 3D software, I prefer to use Photoshop.
